Leadership Education for Asian Pacifics (LEAP) is committed to task of building strong, vibrant communities through the development of informed, active, and engaged leaders. That’s why LEAP dedicated nearly half of its time and resources last year to help  non-profit organizations across the country serve their communities. In 2012, LEAP conducted 36 (out of a total of 75) pro bono or discounted workshops, to more than 29 different organizations and 2,100 people.

Through the years, our community workshops have taken us from the sunny shores of California to the bayous of Louisiana, and everywhere in between. But like many other non-profit organizations, LEAP operates within tight financial constraints. Each year, more and more non-profit organizations approach us about pro bono or discounted workshops. While our dedication to serving communities remains steadfast, our budget doesn’t always allow us to expand our services. That’s why we need your help. Your donation goes towards the funding of more community workshops for deserving non-profits - staff training, resource managing, communications, and everything else that non-profits need to continue serving their local communities.

Non-profit work is incredibly tough and often thankless. But what we don’t always remember is that non-profit work is also incredibly noble and uplifting. Millions of people each day work long hours for little pay and even less appreciation. But they do it because they believe in a vision, a vision of sacrifice, of shared progress. They believe in lending a helping hand because they believe in us - in our ability to do better, to reach higher. So help us help them. Donate today and support LEAP’ mission of building leaders and empowering communities. Help us show them that we believe, too.
