Twenty-five students in Columbus middle schools have spent the last three months listening to and learning from songs produced by Columbus bands and musicians. These 25 students are now prepared to co-produce songs and write lyrics of their own - alongside the bands and musicians they have been studying.

The Dick & Jane Project partners middle school students with professional musicians and producers to create radio ready songs.  The students write the lyrics, the musicians produce the music, and together they collaborate on a professionally recorded song. The Dick & Jane Project has produced 40 songs since 2011, all on rotation at radio stations in Columbus.
